2010-11 School CalendarAfter a comprehensive review of calendar options which involved parent and employee feedback, the Buckeye Union School District adopted a single academic calendar effective August 2007. During the 2008/2009 school year, the current calendar was reviewed by the Board. This review included feedback from employees and parents, attendance data, and intersession attendance and academic results. The Buckeye Union School District Teachers’ Association has requested a change in the calendar and the Board directed administration to obtain feedback from parents and staff on the change. After reviewing input from staff and parents, the Board of Trustees has determined that the first day of school for students will be 8/11/2010.
